Spend moments not money.

Festivity should not be confined especially when you celebrate happiness with such amazing souls. Needless to say, the best of company stands for a festival everyday!

That is exactly why we at SAVERA celebrated Christmas on 15th of the festive month!

So yes! If you were curious of our whereabouts,

we’ve got amazing memories sketched and beautiful moments lived in a single day! We share with you the first glimpse of our next step towards the motive – “Spread smile, spread love and be the change you desire in the world.”

“Didi, ranna hebbi hoeche” made our day ❤

The Day started off with lunch but that’s not about it.

We have been working towards happiness and the first rule was to do something that they love. We do not believe in charity, we believe in spending and sharing moments. Hence, we set the menu as per their choice and the whole day revolved around their wishes.

Moving forward with that motto in mind, we had taken a survey of what can make their day memorable beyond the usual tough routine.

After which, we arranged for all of us to watch “The Jungle Book” and witnessed a ride of laughter and amazement.

Certainly the best kind of company and the best moment of 2016 for us.

P.S. We have got more to us and more for you.

Stay tuned? 🙂

Thank you for reading.

    1. This actually makes my day! Being appreciated well for something I enjoy and love doing is a valued compliment. Although it’s a very small initiative but definitely something I’m so sure of in life. Thank you so much. Stay connected. 😊

    1. I am a part of an NGO which happens to be my dream. It is named SAVERA and is an initiative taken by a few of us. We call it our baby, our dream as it has been founded by us. 😊
Thank you for the motivation you impart. It is but just a small endeavor. 🙂

  1. Here in the west, we sometimes forget the importance of eating a meal together. That is where community and understanding begins. Thank you for being a light in the world along with all the people who helped and the people who cooked that big meal. I was delighted that everyone laughed at Jungle Book. Do you have easy access to these movies? Are they DVD discs or VHS disc?
    From the USA,

    1. Hello,
Thank you very much on behalf of the whole team for such kind words of motivation and appreciation. The officials there had told us about their taste in food and visualization, hence The Jungle Book was a delightful ride. We can access movies here through DVD discs.
      Stay connected.
      Besy regards,

  2. This really really appreciable effort. A very rare people are willing to do such charity. These are great people who are sharing happiness among others.

But, confusion is this……..that whether these people are “special” (mental disabled) ? or what ? a very strange environment is given to them, it does not look like a school nor it seems hospital. Why these people are put behind bars/cage ??

    1. Hello Zahid,
Thank you for the kind words of appreciation. Answering your question is a must here. Yes, these people are special in some way or the other suffering from different issues. The picture here as bars is just a collapsable gate used to lock the main exit from the place since they have a tendency to think they are capable of many things which in reality would harm them. It’s just that the main entrance has 2-3 such gates for their safety. Rest all the places to live are open and accessible by every one of them.
I hope that clears the doubt and I hole you’ll stay connected with us on this small endeavor. 😊

  3. My respect for you just keeps increasing! Great gesture and every point you mentioned here is just inspirational. We think that the world lacks good deeds but all such people including me are wrong. If you can bring smiles to those faces then I certainly believe that you have earned happiness and God’s choicest blessings for life!
