Shout Out.

It has been quite some months of blogging and this is my 64th official post. I’m way behind to celebrate my first anniversary here at WordPress (a few more months to go) but I feel like I have been a part of this family since ages. That’s how much of love and appreciation I get from my fellow bloggers on a daily basis. My token of thanks is nothing compared to the blessings I’ve received in such a short span of time. However, I must never miss an opportunity  to thank whenever I can.

So thank you for the continued support, awards, comments, likes, follows and the love behind it. Also, here’s a shout out to everything I’ve been honored with since the last time I posted the very same.

Blogger Recognition Award

I’d like to thank my fellow bloggers:

to have nominated me for this title. Getting recognized as a blogger for your work and efforts holds a very special place to my heart.

The blogs that have honored me with the title are your friends in disguise of blog titles! I admire the optimism shared through their posts. They run on unique writing styles and topics to share. Please go visit these blogs and get engrossed.

Since this is not the first time I’ve received the award, you can find the Origin Story and My advice for new bloggers here : Three Coveted Titles.

Also, you can read a detailed interview that revolves around the same here :

Influencing Stories And Advice From Guest Bloggers #2.

Mystery Blogger Award

The award has been created by Okoto Enigma who happens to be a very amazing blogger friend. I think I must congratulate her every time someone honors me with the title. “You should be reminded about the great initiative you have taken always!”

I’d like to thank my fellow bloggers:

to have thought of me for the honor. While Jothish is an extraordinary honest voice in the blogosphere, the other blogger promises you a musical endeavor through rhymed verses. Both these blogs are very well deserved to be read and appreciated as much. It’s about time you start reading.

Here’s what I’ve been questioned:

By Jothish:

  • One thing you don’t like about yourself?

There are a lot of things that I’d like to improve in me but the first in the list is the inability to share emotions verbally. I think I’m very emotionally stable as a person and that has never helped me cry out things however grave the situation becomes.  I also need to learn to stop getting into a nutshell to solve my own problems. I really need to learn to initiate and continue conversations for I am a very poor conversationalist. Good thing however, is that I’m under improvisation.

  • What is the first thing you do on waking up in the morning?

I drink a glass of water!

  • If you get an envelope with everything written about your future, would you open it?

Hypothetically, who wouldn’t be tempted at the first shot? But then if this ever happens and I am allowed a second thought, I will not.

  • Happiest moment of your life?

That’s a question too difficult for a happy person in general. I’ve fallen off the bed laughing at the lamest jokes, danced like an idiot at the merest sound of music, sung to myself and felt amazing, written a book, won myself awards and merits, worked with and for people at the NGO, had beautiful moments with family and friends..and you just cannot pick one out! Like I always say, I just don’t live in the moment, these moments live in me!

  • If you had the choice to fast forward or rewind your life, what would you do and why?

Is it an either-or question or can I stick onto the pace I am in? I do not ever want to rewind my life or skip to future. I’m in love with the journey for it clearly has it’s own charm and I don’t want to miss it.

By poetry2473:

  • Who do you admire most?

My mother. A cliche answer but the truth.

  • What’s your favorite song?

Oh! I have like so many to even start counting. The artists/bands I usually listen to are however : Porcupine Tree, Imagine Dragons, One Republic, Coldplay, Genesis, Nine Inch Nails, Twenty One Pilots, Ed Sheeran, John Mayer, Maroon 5, Lea Michelle, Sia Furler and a hundred others in different genres.

  • When and how did you start blogging?

The answer to this is already mentioned above in the post.

  • Funniest moment in your life?

Just like the happiest, funniest moment ain’t quite my thing. I usually end up being the subject of jokes that I myself enjoy and there’s always a funny thing that is sure to leave us laughing.

  • How does it feel to be in love?

It feels great, isn’t it? To be in love with people and spread smile is bliss. If your question implies the romantic tangent, I do not have an opinion as of yet but about love in general, I think that it is the best emotion to experience.

Versatile Blogger Award

Being honored with a Versatile Blogger Award is like celebrating your individuality and stand as a person. All of us are unique in our own beautiful way and this award is so beautiful a gesture to honor what is yours!

I’d like to thank my fellow bloggers:

to have nominated me for the honor. Both of these blogs are an ideal example of what they’ve nominated me for. These are people voicing their souls and hearts out for us to read and how beautifully! Go discover.

One Lovely Blog Award

As lovely as the title suggests, I’m glad someone nominated me for this. This is such a sweet title for a blogger to receive. I’d like to thank Jothish again for the sweet gesture. His blog is as much lovely if I must say!

As visible, I did skip the facts asked in any of the awards mentioned here. Reason why I chose to skip these is because I’ve already shared a zillion things about myself on the blog! Okay, a lot already. So most of you know the facts I’d share and if you haven’t yet read these. Here’s where you read the posts and discover the facts : Recognitions.

2016/17 TAG:

  • 1. Mention Creator of tag
  • 2. Use the image in the article
  • 3. Mention blogger(s) who have chosen you
  • 4. Answer the questions
  • 5. Tag 9 other bloggers & let them know

A big thank you to David for creating this amazing tag!

It seems like Jothish has nominated me enough for the titles this time! But I’m so glad he tagged me for something new and interesting to try out. I am thankful to him to have thought of me and for the support he showers!

  • Describe 2016 in 3 words.

A surprise package.

  • Two people who have characterized your 2016.

As for the year and the years to come, I characterize my life with my family.

  • Most beautiful place visited in 2016 and why?

Very surprisingly, it was a no travel year for me.

  • Most delicious food I’ve had in 2016.

I only remember that the most awful food I ate was what I cooked once. Okay, just kidding. I eat delicious food whenever my mother is in great mood!

  • Finest purchase in 2016

Bought my own book just to know what is it to buy your book from a place you’d usually search for books of different authors.

  • 3 good intentions for 2017

Learn. Grow. Prosper.

  • Place I want to visit in 2017

There’s so much for me to travel. I want to go on a road trip to a hill station very soon.

  • Food I want to eat.

Try out different cuisines.

I’ve no questions to ask and no nominations to ping. Like I mentioned in my last shout out,the blog at my end is growing with all your blessings and that leaves me in the most perplex situation : Who should be nominated? It is really very tough to handpick a few and get disappointed on not being able to nominate a few more. Hence, I choose not to.This is just a shout out to appreciate each one of you whenever you think of me!

I await and value your feedback.

Thank you for the patience.

Shout Out!

Before I begin with the shout out of this month, I must mention Simon and Rateka who had nominated me for Liebster Award and The Sunshine Blogger Award respectively. I thank you both for the motivation right since my initial days here. Both these blogs are special as we have witnessed our growths ever since my debut.

I seek apology for having missed your nominations. Also, if I have missed any other nomination, I must apologize.

Why an apology?

Because I firmly believe that I am nothing without my fellow bloggers. I do realize the struggle to choose nominations and hence, I must not forget to thank you if you’ve ever thought of me for a recognition.

Once in a while I must post longer write-ups and these awards help me get through the venture!

Here’s to the times I’ve been thought of in the last month:

I’d like to thank Ally L. Mare for the nomination. His blog reflects beauty in poetic verses and is a professional read. He is also a published author and you can find out about his work here. Go visit his thoughts and be enthralled!

Here’s what I’ve been questioned:

  • What is the MOST FRUSTRATING moment of your life?

Ever since childhood, I have been told and taught to keep calm and that is how I’ve lived most of my growing years. But dishonesty, hypocrisy and vague judgements bring me down and are a little frustrating.

  • If you can change ONE THING in your life, what would it be?

NOTHING. All the love, the mini battles, the highs, the lows and my life as a whole defines my individuality.

  • How do you deal with EMOTIONAL BREAKDOWN?

I like this question a lot. People generally are of the opinion that those who do not cry never break down but that is not the case. I end up void sometimes and I’m more of an emotionally stable person. Two or three major events in my life broke me down completely and I’ve found myself at the corner of the room, wiping off tears that have dried up and restricting company. I’m an introvert when it comes to emotional attachment and breakdowns. As for me,discussing problems is a very big issue in itself. I look out for optimism in life by preparing myself for the worse that may happen and the only thing that keeps me going :

” Even if everything fades and everyone leaves, I still deserve to live.”

The award has been created by Okoto Enigma who happens to be a very amazing fellow blogger. I must congratulate her for the initiative as well.

I’d like to thank Miss B, El Coleccionista Hipnótico and DarkLove for the nomination. Miss B is a darling fellow blogger who never fails to spread love! El Coleccionista is the perfect blog for any music lover as it promises to provide the best of albums ever! Dark Love is a recent versatile entry to the blogging community! All three of them are wonderful blogs awaiting to be read.

Three things about myself:

I’ve already shared a zillion things about me. Okay, a lot already! You can browse through the various facts here at : Recognitions.

All I can share this time is a Merry Christmas selfie (Haha) :

Here’s what I’ve been questioned:

By Miss B:

  • What do you think is the most important thing in life?

The most important thing according to me is optimism. An optimist will never give up and live to the fullest always.

  • Which animal are you really super afraid of?

I am really afraid of reptiles! They are creepy. Snakes, precisely.

  • What is the weirdest thing that has happened to you?

I have always been pushed out of conversations by individuals of my age group as they consider me too innocent for the jokes or puns. The weirdest that can happen to a weirdo, I tell you.

  • What do you absolutely hate?

I absolutely hate judgments, dishonesty and hypocrisy.

  • The Weird Question: If you were a man on earth who would you like to appear?

If I were to be a man on earth, I’d like to be my father for some important reasons.

By El Coleccionista:

  •  Which one is the best live show you have ever seen?

The best is yet to come since I haven’t been very much fortunate to watch great live shows.

Would you walk the streets and enter a church disguised as a bishop if it was necessary in order to investigate a crime?

I like the question very much. Yes, I would enter the church as a bishop or enter the temple as a priest if my job is to investigate a crime for “Work is worship” to me.

  • What is the most  funny event you have ever experienced?

Too many to keep a count or choose one, seriously!

  • If you had to choose one between your favorite movies, which one it would be?

Forrest Gump or The Shawshank Redemption. Tough call.

  • What is the one thing you consider your main virtue?

The desire to learn and the focus to achieve.

By DarkLove:

  • What are your interests except blogging?

Dance. The NGO. A lot of things but these remain constant.

  • Do you believe in God?

I am not very religious but I believe in the supreme authority and miracles.

  • When did you start writing or how did you find interest in blogging or becoming a writer?

I have already mentioned the origin story of this blog in a post titled ‘Three Coveted Titles.

  • The scariest moment of your life

October, 2016 : Not a moment but the scariest month.

  • What’s your take on love and relationships?

Love for me is what I’ve shared in the post : ‘Of Love And Our Romantic Best’

The link to my best post: The Color Of Your Skin.

  • Some words for this World’s behavior for female gender?

You will find me speaking of equality, feminism and women always. While I speak of the unjustified world in the posts : ‘A myth so far!‘ and ‘You and I provoke his mind.’

I have also made my point on feminism and equality with the post ‘Womanly enough?

  • Some words for me either you don’t know me? please!

I hardly know of you as a person but as a blogger, I really look forward to the posts you put up with all honesty. Stay blessed always.

This is the third time I’m writing about this award and the title already holds a special position in my heart. Having received a nomination from Daisy in the Willows makes it even more special. Natasha a.k.a Daisy is one of the very first and the most amazing souls I’m blessed to have crossed paths with. For me, she is sunshine herself! You must go visit this woman of woes and wows! Thank you for the nomination.

Here’s what I’ve been questioned:

  • Which decade do you miss the most?

I’m exactly two decades old and that is too less to miss any!

  • To which poet do you feel most connected to?

I connect well with both Sylvia Plath and Maya Angelou. Also, poetry for me has always been John Keats and Robert Browning. Too many names to take.

  • Your spirit cartoon character/TV show artist?

I am definitely Jerry from Tom and Jerry if it’s about the spirit! Haha.

  • How has your blog helped you the most?

Oh! It has worked wonders to help me with the confidence and has imbibed within me the will to write better.

Thank you once again for the nominations each one of you.

However, this time I’ve no questions to ask and no nominations to ping. The blog at my end is growing with all your blessings and that leaves me in the most perplex situation : Who should be nominated? From a family of 2.5k bloggers (as of now), it is really very tough to handpick a few and get disappointed on not being able to nominate a few more. Hence, I choose not to.

This post is to appreciate all the blessings, well wishes and support.

I await and value your feedback.

Thank you for reading.

Never let the words fall short! 🙂

Three coveted titles.

It is absolutely overwhelming to be nominated by so many bloggers and for such different awards in the blogosphere. I value each nomination. Thank you everyone for reading and the valued feedback. 🙂

Here’s a shout out to the three awards I’ve been nominated for-

The Rules for The Blogger Recognition Award:

  1. Write a post to show your award.
  2. Give a brief story of how your blog started.
  3. Give two pieces of advice to new bloggers.
  4. Thank whoever nominated you, and provide a link to their blog.
  5. Select 15 other blogs you want to give the award to them.

I’d like to thank my fellow blogger Vibes of a Calcuttan to have nominated me for this title. Getting recognized as a blogger is a personal achievement for me since I never really thought I could blog!

The blog that has honored me with the title is a beautiful place of optimism , love and everything nice. Also, we share the same city of joy! I’m definitely very blessed to have crossed paths with her. Please go visit her blog and get engrossed.

Origin Story :

Once upon a time there lived a girl who wrote thoughts, turmoils and happiness in her diary. The first person she tortured with her works was her brother. To every work, her brother had no words of appreciation. Sometime, he’d say it’s not his genre and sometime he’d dismiss matters with an “Okay”. They lived like a happy family proud of the book she wrote early that year until one day he spoke over coffee, “Why don’t you have a blog as of yet silly?”

Need I say anymore? Oh yes , he still hasn’t appreciated my work!

Advice for anybody starting up a blog-

I’m myself a very new blogger who almost never imagined to be recognized and appreciated so well for blogging. I would rather share what I’ve learned.

  1. You need to believe you can and be your own kind of individual. What you write speaks for you in the blogosphere. So why not create, edit and master what is yours already?
  2.  You’ve got to be a reader as much as you write. You learn , you interact, you grow and you prosper. That’s the basic idea.

I’d like to thank  Vishal Ahlawat PoojaG and janai24 for the nomination. I’ve followed these strong personalities voicing their thoughts in a very wonderful manner!

I’m glad to have crossed paths and I’d suggest their blogs for a great read. Please go follow!

“Mystery Blogger Award” is an award for amazing bloggers with ingenious posts. Their blog not only captivates; it inspires and motivates. They are one of the best out there, and they deserve every recognition they get. This award is also for bloggers who find fun and inspiration in blogging; and they do it with so much love and passion.– Created by Okoto Enigma.

  1. Put the award logo/image on your blog.
  2. List the rules.
  3. Thank whoever nominated you and provide a link to their blog.
  4. Mention the creator of the award and provide a link as well.
  5. Tell your readers 3 things about yourself.
  6. You have to nominate 10 – 20 people.
  7. Notify your nominees by commenting on their blog.
  8. Ask your nominees any 5 questions of your choice; with one weird or funny question.
  9. Share a link to one of your best posts.

Three things about me :

  • I am selectively lazy.
  • I have always been mistaken as quiet and I’m absolutely the opposite.
  • I didn’t know I was writing a book until I had written quite a few chapters.

Here’s what I’ve been questioned :

By Vishal :

  •  What is your biggest fear about blogging?

The fact that I’m super lazy might just ruin a lot of things.

  •  What are your aspirations in life?

I’m just aspiring to achieve the small goals set up which includes writing and NGO.

  • Do you have any secret talent? If yes, what is it?

Yes I can stay without sleep and sleep for about a day straight. Both, oddly.

  •  Who is/was your idol? And why?

My mother. All that I am is cause of her.

  •    Just curious; do you like chicken wing or chicken breast?:) (Weird question)

Sadly, I cannot be weirder since I’m a vegetarian.

By PoojaG :

  •  What’s your favorite movie?

Forrest Gump. Shawshank Redemption. Rang De Basanti. ZNMD.

  •  Who’s your favorite musician?

I am into all sorts of music. To name a few that are more frequent to the list – Imagine Dragons, Coldplay, Genesis, Porcupine Tree and the list goes on. Also, Indian classical music.

  •  If you could go back in time and change one thing what would it be and why?

I’ve got nothing to change from my past since it has made me who I am today.

  •  What’s your blog about and why did you choose to write about that topic?

My blog is all about my opinions , my reflexes and my thoughts. I’ve always loved to express and voice individual instincts. I promote individuality in every form and I tend to establish that through my blog.

  • Who/what motivated you to start blogging?

I’ve already answered this question at the start of this post.

By Janai:

  • What is your favorite piece of literature?

A very difficult question for any reader. I’ve got a number of plays and poems to enlist.

  • What would you do for a living even if you didn’t get paid?

I’d work for the NGO and write even if I don’t get paid.

  • What is one thing you cannot live without?

I cannot live without talking to my mother daily.

  • Where is your favorite place in the world?

I haven’t much traveled the world but Australia has always fascinated me.

  • If you could have a superpower, what would it be? (1 funny Question)

I’d definitely want to fly and be the selfish girl who has always dreamt of flying.

The Best Of Both Worlds.

5 Golden rules for the nomination:

  • Put the award logo on your blog
  • Answer 7 questions asked by the person who nominated you
  • Thank the person who nominated you
  • Nominate any number of bloggers you like, by linking their blogs

I’d like to thank eshinalidoreen  for nominating me. This is a very unique title and I’m glad you’ve thought of me for the award. Her blog is a great compilation of works and a must read. Please go follow her to be enthralled.

Here’s what I’ve been questioned:

  • Why did you start blogging?

I’ve answered the question already at the start of this post through the origin of my story.

  • What is your favorite quote?

My favorite quote as a child has been what Napoleon said, “Nothing is impossible in this world” . I keep reminding that to me.

  • What are you going to do if you’re given a chance to be a billionaire?

I’m going to live my dream of making SAVERA a huge NGO and get myself dedicated into writing and social service.

  • Can you describe your blog in three words?

An honest reflection.

  • What have you always wanted?

I’ve always wanted to spread smile, spread love and be the change I wish to see in the world. This also happens to be Savera’s tagline.

  • What is the most amazing moment of your life?

When I hugged my mother who stood amidst the back crowd with tears and a gleaming smile after I received an award that says, “Best Student of the year 2014” . Also, when my dad held ‘The Last Journal’  with pride and patted my shoulder.

  • What is your advice to new blogger in one sentence?

I’ve already shared some things I’ve learned. I believe I’m still an amateur to advise.

My questions for both the awards :-

  • What is that one quality you’ve worked very hard for?
  • What is the most fun part of your daily routine?
  • Why do you choose to write and what has it taught you?
  • Given a second chance, what is it that you’ll try again?
  • Define what makes you beautiful.
  • Do you daydream about things? Share a few.
  • Any advice/ words for me as a blogger.

(ANSWER any five if you’re nominated for the Mystery Blogger award)

I’d like to nominate :

Thank you for reading.

Never let the words fall short! 🙂

The Versatile Blogger Award. (II)

All that I’ve been working for is my individuality and the stand I take as a person. An award that celebrates your versatility and acknowledges you for being yourself is definitely a delight.

This is my second Versatile Blogger Award and that leaves me startled. It’s so lovely to know that there are people who really appreciate and believe in what I create.

This time I’ve been nominated by a very dedicated blogger. I’d like to thank for thinking of me. It’s a wonderful blog with beautiful write-ups awaiting to be read.

I’ve crossed the 1k mark but when I was nominated , I was under the followers limit. I really appreciate every nomination and am grateful to have been thought of. Hence, I’ll be taking part.

  1. Thank the person who nominated you.
  2. Share the award on your blog.
  3. Share 7 random facts about you.
  4. Tag 5 bloggers with less than 1000 followers.
  5. Let them know that they have been nominated.

Seven things about myself –

Before I start I’d be obliged if you go through the 11 random facts about me under Liebster Award to know the facts that I’ve already shared. They are more likely the facts to read if you don’t know me as of yet. Next would be the seven random facts that I’ve shared under Versatile Blogger Award.

Another nomination just adds on to more details coming to the foreplay. I’ll be spilling out some fun facts just as honestly as the award demands –

  • The worst question you’d ask me is my sun sign ’cause I’m too lazy to find out yet. 😅
  • I’ve been crushing on AB DE Villers as an ardent cricket fan and his wedding did actually hurt. 😦
  • I’ve grown up being referred to Hitler cause I hardly cry. 😐
  • All throughout my growing years, I’ve been the tomboy who played cricket and behaved like some cool dude out of nowhere. So I seldom meet guys cursing me for destroying their crucial matches back in campus.😎
  • I do not remember birthdays. I’ve my friend appointed to remind me of dates that matter and she has to be bribed. 😛
  • My dad thinks there are two kind of people in this world. The first category belongs to me and the other is the whole damn world. 😁
  • I’m the best pillow fighter and I almost win every time against my brother unless my mom calls a ceasefire. Okay, that’s some bluff. I do not give up though.😜

My nominations –

There are no common blogs from the previous Versatile Blogger Award since that would be repitition

Nominating blogs is the toughest job. All of you are amazing and one of a kind. I am glad to have crossed paths with each one of you.

    Thank you for reading.

Never let the words fall short! 🙂

    Sunshine Blogger Award. ( II)

I could not post about sunshine while I was struggling for rays myself and thankfully, I’m glad that it just took me a month to accept the award in its true sense.

The sun shines finally after all the darkness in my life. I’m not sure if getting nominated for a Sunshine Blogger Award twice in a row is something I actually deserve. I’m no sunshine or ray of hope but yes definitely  I’d been waiting for a better moment of light to take part and do justice.

This time , I’ve been nominated by a very sweet blogger I look up to.

rekhasahay is an amazing writer , a great guide and somebody I constantly learn from. Please go check out her writings . She is a wonderful woman. 🙂
    Here are the rules –

    1) Thank the person who nominated you.

    2) Answer the 11 questions you’ve been asked.

    3) Nominate 11 other bloggers.

    4) Ask the nominees 11 questions.

    Here’s what I’ve been questioned-

     1.Who is your favourite actor?
    Tom Hanks. Also, Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
    2. A nice movie you watched recently.
    It has to be PINK.
3.What do you prefer and why? War or peace?
I prefer peace always ’cause no matter what and how the circumstances be, war is not a solution but just a catalyst and I believe in solutions.
    4. Do you like to travel?
I’m a complete wanderlust and how I wish somebody paid for my travel wish lists.
    5. Name your favourite book or writer.
My favorite book is A Thousand Splendid Suns and favorite author is Sir Khaled.
6.Should politicians also have a retirement age?
I don’t personally think so. Till a person is eligible enough to think and act properly , no limitations should be enforced.
    7. Do you love music?
I’m an audiophile , a music buff and I feed on songs. Only if that suffices my love.
    8. Your favourite meal is?
Breakfast. That is the heaviest meal of the day for me and that sets me up for a brighter day always.
    9. The thing irritates you the most.
It’s very difficult to irritate me since I do not actually lose my calm easily except when I’ve my brothers fooling around. Who is not aware of sibling rivalry anyway? To name a thing still, I find gossips irritating if the person talked about is not physically present.
    10. Season you like most?
    11. Your dream?
I do not have a dream to enlist at all. Like honestly people ask me about my dream and I go blank. There are so many short to-do lists of things I keep dreaming about and that keeps me motivated. I’m just always seeking happiness.

    My questions for you :-

This time however I’ll be repeating the same questions as the first SUNSHINE award and my nominations , hence will have nobody in common with the first set of nominations.

Please go through the questions here.

A new set of nominations based on the title are –

    The Sunshine Blogger Award.

There’s something so warm , happy and vibrant about this award and that’s definitely the name! ‘ The Sunshine Blogger Award’ is a very refreshing award title and I’m thankful to Viraj for thinking of me and nominating. Also for reading and writing to me. I value your feedback.

    The Rules:

    1. Thank the person who nominated you
    2. Answer the questions asked to you
    3. Nominate other bloggers
    4. Write the same amount of questions for other nominated bloggers

    Here’s what I’ve been questioned :

    • Which part of the globe do you come from and what made you start your blog?

I am from the city of joy, Kolkata which is a vibrant state situated in the east of India. The fact that I am keen about learning and always appreciate any feedback made me start. It is just an impromptu decision that happens to serve so well.

    • A special message which you received that holds special place for you?

Each and every message, mail and letters of appreciation ignites the little spark of happiness and holds a beautiful place in my heart. Every review about the book and feedback brings out the child out of me. And every time they say, “I’m proud of you. ” , it is special.

    • Your favorite Movies?

There’s never one hence I like the usage of movies instead of movie. I’m a die hard fan of Tom Hanks hence, Forrest Gump ranks the highest. Also, The Shawshank Redemption. There’s a never ending list that follows. In bollywood, I have a soft corner for the movie Rang De Basanti and almost every Irfan Khan or Nawazuddin starrer movie.

    • Things about friends/siblings you love and annoy?

Having a brother is a blessing in disguise of all the tantrums, mini world wars, never ending trials of accusation and constant nagging. And guess what? I’ve twice the blessings already.

I love the fact that they are the coolest individuals with  opposite perceptions and there’s almost nothing we don’t discuss about. Also, when you have nicknames like ‘aloo’ (potato) and ‘motu'(fatso) , you end up being annoyed very often to keep the count at what actually annoys!

    • Qualities you love about yourself ?

This is the trickiest question perhaps. But straight up to the point,  a quality that I am thankful about is the fact that I cannot hold on to the negative for long .  Patience and determination can be added up as secondary things I love about myself as well.

    • Your motive in life ?

To travel, read, explore, learn and live 🙂

    • Craziness you would like to do in life that you were not able to do ?

I want to drive out of the city on to some distant place which would be a parallel world, hide my identity and explore places and people. Live the wanderlust.

    • Your birthday? (so that I can wish you :p)

    25th of July.

    • What does your name mean?

The meaning is white. It can also be represented as pure.

    • Any topic which I should write as my next post?

Your next post according to me should be some poetry like your blog post ‘Inhi Rahon par.’ I am a huge fan of poetry in Hindi.

     My questions for you :

    • Since how long are you blogging and how has been the experience so far?
    • What’s your kind of music?
    • If you go invisible for a day, what might have changed the other day?
    • Your perception about love.
    • What’s that one  dream that inspires you to work harder?
    • How does your dream tour wishlist looks like?
    • What makes you happy?
    • What is the best part of your daily routine?
    • Do you believe in the saying, ‘First impression is the last impression’?
    • Your feedback for me.

And my Nominations(in no particular order) are:

Nominating is the toughest job since each blog is beautiful and unique. I love reading each and every blog I follow.

     Thank you for reading.

    Versatile Blogger Award.

“You are living a tale the world can never replace!” I used this phrase to acknowledge people who read my work in a previous post and getting awarded for the same is one lovely experience altogether.

Being versatile for me is the biggest compliment that can come your way! Like any other award the blogging community has acknowledged me with, this is special.

I’d like to thank Vinitha from Vinisblog – A Walk Through Kaleidoscope Of Life. for presenting me with an award that feels so refreshing. I’m almost a month late to write about this but I’m glad that you consider my blog worth a nomination. 🙂

Vinitha is a powerful blogger who explores the world with honest write-ups. Visit the lovely girl and her world for a beautiful read.

    The Rules

    1. Show the award on your blog
    2. Thank the person/people who nominated you
    3. Share 7 things about yourself.
    4. Nominate 10 blogs

    Seven things about myself

Before I start I’d be obliged if you go through the 11 random facts about me under Liebster Award to know the facts that I’ve already shared. They are more likely the facts to read if you don’t know me as of yet.

Since I’ve been nominated again to put forth 7 points, I’d be spilling out some more details. Only this time to justify the title I’ve been entitled to.

    1. I believe in a YES or a NO. Maybe is not a word in my dictionary.
    2. I don’t remember anything that I’ve actually hated. I believe there are too many critics in the world already.
    3. I’m a music buff. EDM , progressive rock, soft rock , pop and every kind just fits in depending on the mood. Just don’t hear me hum along! 😛
    4. Happiness is midnight ice-cream, a 5 am walk, a dance in the rain or anything small and refreshing.
    5.  I’m the last person to judge anything always. More because I find judgements vague. Perceptions are meant to differ.
    6.  I’m a hyper active person.  I could sleep for 3-4 hours a day and be doing great until I take a whole day off for sleeping. Strange mechanism, just..
    7. I’m awkward at compliments. So if you happen to say I’m anything except sweet or cute, I take time to respond .

My nominations (in no particular order) are –

Each and every blog has it’s own versatility. However, these are the ones I’d like to nominate this time.

    Thanks for reading.

Never let the words fall short. 🙂

    “Black Cat,Blue Sea” Award.

Honestly, I write for myself and I’m glad that it is thought of to create an impact. If there are people who relate to my write-ups even a 0.1 % somewhere and somehow, it’s like being rewarded for what you are and that is so special!

About the award- “This award is for bloggers who strive to write for everybody, and no matter how many viewers they get, make an impact on a reader. This award is an expression of gratitude to the nominee. It should be awarded to anybody that you choose deserves it.”

Thank you Prashant for nominating me last week. This is an awesome title. I’m late but I am posting back as promised. I love reading all that you pen down and I wish you all the best for future endeavors. Also, I’d like everybody who reads this to go check out his blog for a lovely read.

    Here’s what I’ve been questioned :

    • What is your dream & passion of life? What are your steps towards achieving it?

As for dreams, I’ve been asked the question in my previous nomination for Liebster Award and I answered – “I take a dream, work on it until I’ve lived the pleasure of it. The Last Journal and Savera are two such dreams I’m living at present. I’ve got no big dreams but small wishlists I tend to work on.”

While passion for me has always been penning down words and dancing out emotions. I feel that I’m at my best when I work on either of the two and I work hard on being able to do the same.

    • Which one character of any read book you loved most and why?

I’m truly inspired by Mariam from A Thousand Splendid Suns. Characters/ individuals who exhibit growth and strength with time are my favorite kind. To learn to stand up and speak out leaving behind inhibitions when the situation demands is all that I seek from a person in real life as well. She is one such powerful growth and I simply love the work by Sir Khaled Hosseini.

    • If given an opportunity to write a book, which genre will you prefer to write on & why?

Oh yes, I found myself an opportunity and started writing a mainstream fiction novel at 18. What still amazes me is that I’ve a book under my name right here in my bookshelf and being read by people too.

Fiction for me is marvelous. Who wouldn’t love the liberty to create, craft and narrate a world of your own ?

But then, given a second chance I’d like to pen down something non-fictional. Somewhat ’cause I don’t want to restrain myself to limited genres and more because, I take it as a challenge to portray the world as it is.

What I’d love to hear from you :

    • Which is better – to speak a lie that saves or a truth that kills?
    • Whose blog do you relate with and why?
    • They say money can buy happiness, how correct is the statement for you?

    I’d like to nominate :

This time I’ve got so many nominations in mind and jotting down seven names has been tougher than I imagined. Go check out the nominated bloggers and treat yourself with a beautiful read.

Needless to say, I love each and every blog I’ve stumbled across. I’m here to learn and you’ve been an amazing source.

    Thanks for reading.

Never let the words fall short !:)
